Heading to the mountains isn't all about skiing. Our children love playing in the snow and
exploring the forests and mountains in the winter. Snowman making, snowball fights, plenty of snow
eating, and just rolling around in it! They especially love it when it starts to snow. The times
spent exploring seem to form some of their fondest memories.

Exploring, Whistler Blackcomb.
Our girls love exploring the villages on the mountains, so much to see and do, and the snow gives
it all a magical feel. After dark in mountains is when the villages really come alive.

Not matter which mountain we head to our girls are always keen to seek out a good spot for
tobogganing. They can spend hours going up and down small slopes, giggling the whole time! Most of
the time we find toboggans at the place we are staying but they are also very cheap to hire.

The girls were so excited to have a real sleigh ride on Christmas eve on our White Christmas trip
